ATV is a Java tool for the visualization of annotated phylogenetic trees which can be used both as an applet and as a standalone application. It requires Java 1.4. Older versions are also available which use older versions of Java.
ATV reads three data formats:
* New Hampshire ܡ produced by all major phylogenetic analysis software
* New Hampshire Extended our extension of the NH format
* phyloXML an XML language which is currently in development [see also: http://sourceforge.net/projects/phyloxml/]
